Scuba Libre Diving Centre has the best access to one of Zanzibars ’s premier underwater playgrounds – especially Mnemba Atol which is rated in the top 10 dive sites in Zanzibar! All of our amazing dive sites are within a quick 10-15 minute boat trip from our beach where we launch our wooden dive boat.
Diving here can only be described as exhilarating! Only minutes away from our doorstep, Mnemba Atol’s reefs are teeming with various marine life like Manta rays and White Tip sharks during summer (Nov-Apr), endangered Grey Nurse sharks and humpback whales during winter (Jun-Oct), plus bull & eagle rays, guitar & wobbegong sharks, turtles, dolphins, octopus, pelagics, hard & soft corals, nudibranchs plus hundreds of tropical fish species.
We have a choice of 12 varying dive sites, all with their own individual experiences. This wide array of choice allows us to tailor your dive trip according to your experience levels, as well as which particular site has the best conditions on the day of your trip.
We also provide all levels of PADI scuba instruction from Open Water, right through to Divemaster, for those who want to go the professional level. Our Open water courses run over 3 fun-filled, exciting and challenging days, usually Friday – Sunday, and include 4 ocean dives, 1 pool session, all of your theory materials and equipment hire, your PADI certification upon completion of the course, as well as huge discounts on the dive gear we sell in our shop and on our beachfront accommodation.
